Transcriber Permissions

Transcribers are responsible for using all of the following new permissions properly.

Song Page

Manage Lyrics Dropdown
• Award transcription IQ (Mark as Real)
• Mark lyrics complete
• Manage lyric edit proposals (LEPs)
• Edit annotation brackets

Song Page Admin Dropdown
• Lock
• Hide
• Delete

Other Song Page Permissions
• Edit lyrics more expansively
• Edit metadata more expansively
• Sync Lyrics (Coming soon 👀)

Album Page

Transcriber Etiquette

Users with roles are expected to act as role models (this includes behavior in forums, Discord, edits, and DMs), and immature conduct can even result in the loss of the role.

Transcription-related conduct is covered in the most detail on this page. Some highlights:
