Stickit T @RT57843064 1 hr ago Really interesting, loved how each characters pasts influenced their actions in (not always so) subtle ways, I feel some aspects could've used an extra few episodes to flesh out, but very coherent, satisfying and emotionally gripping story overall. Not sure why some did not like the tonal shift from S2, i think exploring new perspectives of the cyberpunk world is great. Some parts better than, some parts worse than, but overall just as good as the first season. See more Stephen T @RT10892540 4 hrs ago The beautiful thing about this story is the evolving relationships between the main characters throughout it. As a huge fan of season 1, i started off wary, but it didnt take long to completely fall for every character and their stories. The mix of despair and hope that this show produced is like no other show i've seen. Talia's story is so tragic to me and will forever live rent-free in my mind. Roman was the unexpected protagonist i needed to relate even more as a softy, ganic choom, myself. Mr. Krabs was the best choice for an ex-cyberpsycho they could have made. D is a character i feel i will never fully understand with his complicated sense of self and filled his place perfectly. I've watched it 4 times already and am gearing up for a 5th. I LOVE season 1, but this chewed me up and spit me out in a way i did not expect. Somewhat of a spoiler: Keep in mind that cyberpunk lore has cures for Talia's condition that dont require being chromed up. It avoids repeating David’s arc, exploring new corners of the city while keeping the emotional core—people crushed by chrome and capitalism—front and center. The quieter moments hit as hard as the set pieces, the soundtrack slaps, and the finale sticks the landing with an earned gut-punch. If you loved Season 1, this is a must-watch.
